So here we are, Brighton Marina Divers, a diving club based at Brighton Marina. (What a surprise !) We are the dive section of Brighton Marina Yacht club and have the use of the Yacht Club building as our clubhouse. The dive club was founded in 1972 as BSAC branch 493 (British Sub Aqua Club) and comprises of divers from different organizations, so everyone is welcome. The membership also includes qualified instructors, so if you want to learn to dive why not give us a call. See the ‘Contact Us’ page to get in touch.
Over the years we have built up a number of facilities such as: -
- Our RIB (rigid inflatable boat, see more on that page)
- Digital Compressor, located at the clubhouse
- Diving equipment available to hire to club members and thier guests
- Use of the restaurant and bar at Brighton Marina Yacht Club
- Training room for lecture sessions
- Access to a variety of dive sites, some within a few minutes of the marina
- Club dive trips
- Use of a second hardboat also moored at the marina
So if you are looking for a dive club to join to enjoy scuba diving in the Brighton area or you are interested in learning to dive then get in touch. Alternatively you could pop down to Brighton Marina Yacht Club on Thursday evenings from 8pm for our regular dive club meeting and social evening.
