This is an inaugral blog from the desk of the editor who has never been on a blog, written a blog or has the faintest idea of what you are supposed to say on a blog, or for that matter what a blog actually is. How do you know if anyone is ever going to read this? I therefore feel that I can make provocative statements and will kick off the blogging debate with the assertion that diving members who wear dry suits in the summer are wimps! Lloyd bridges never did in Sea Hunt. Hans and Lotte Hass only wore swimsuits….and George Formby only wore his underpants in the classic” Underwater Capers” starring George and Nelly Fanshawe. I rest my case.

There’s nowt wrong wi’dry rubber wear in summer. Helps keep me slim and fit due to the excessive overheating. Kind of like going diving in a sauna. I highly recommend it. Needs a good airing afterwards though, especially if I have dropped one or two during the dive as well.

Haze best keep away from the electrically heated waist coat. I have one but untested as yet. A methane fire at depth?
