Paul Jackman is giving a talk entitled a “Personal History of Wreck Exploration”on Thursday 20th November at 8:30pm at Brighton Marina Yacht Club. For 20 years Paul has been diving seldom-dived or undived shipwrecks using air, mixed gas and rebreathers. He says in the early days finding a new wreck was about rape and pillage of the seabed but now, the identification and the history of the wrecks is the reason to dive. Around Sussex alone he has been actively involved in identifying in excess of 20 wrecks. This talk covers a some of the trips he has been on and focuses on a couple of specific sites.
