Brighton Marina Divers is a non-profit organisation and all our Instructors are unpaid volunteers. Please see breakdown of costs and examples below.

BSAC Membership (yearly) £50 |
Payable by each member. This includes 12 month subscription to Dive Magazine, 3rd party insurance, support from British Sub Aqua Club HQ |

Ocean Diver training course £135 |
Payable at start of training. This includes 3 months membership of Brighton Marina Yacht Club, Diving Manual, Workbook and Certification folder, use of club equipment & pool fees during Ocean Diver training. |

Club Membership (yearly) £131 |
This includes membership of the Brighton Marina Yacht Club and Brighton Marina Divers. |

Dive costs |
Inshore reefs/sites up to 5 miles £10 each Offshore sites 5-10 miles £12 each |

Example of how costs work
New member wishes to learn to dive
BSAC cost £50 plus Ocean Diver training course £135 = Total £185
This includes 3 months membership to Brighton Marina Yacht Club – after 3 months an additional 9 months membership fee of £80 is payable
Total first year cost would the be £185 plus £80 = £265
